An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Enforce Safety and Health plans in the workplace according to regulatory requirement, Shwe Taung Engineering & Construction Health, Safety, Security, Social & Environmental Regulation guidelines and client requirements where applicable;
Enforce safety policies, procedures, SSoWs, inspections and actions plan and ensure the compliance of them;
Participate in risk assessment process and implementation of efficient control measures, advise management team on Occupational Safety and Health legislation, safe methods of working, prevention of hazards and control measures;
Enforce guideline for subcontractor’s safety, health and environmental requirements and compliance throughout the lifecycle of the projects;
Lead effective Health & Safety communication and worker participation through safety meetings, activities;
Conduct basic trainings, briefings and meetings for Safety, Health and Environmental matters and accident prevention;
Monitor compliance of Safety, Health and Environmental plans and provide reports to manager and department;
Ensure emergency preparedness is adequate by verifying emergency procedures and doing drill exercises;
Ensure safety equipment at site are adequate, functioned and check respectively;
Assist with accident investigations, incidents, near miss reporting to make recommendations to avoid recurrence;
Regularly review policies, procedures, assessments and SSoWs to ensure they are still suitable and efficient;
Recommend solutions to Safety, Health and Environmental related issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures;
Support management team on all aspects of Health and Safety;
Support applicable internal and external Safety, Health and Environmental audits and inspections;
Maintain good safety culture within the organization;

Job Requirements

Any Graduate with Technical or Safety Management background is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years proven experience in Health and Safety field.
Recognized Occupational Health and Safety Qualification
Through understanding, development and implementation of Health and Safety Management system and plans.
Ability in producing reports, good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and outstanding observation ability.
